Welcome to the first incarnation of Project Chameleon, an attempt to provide appropriate camouflage patterns suited for every world biome according to the WWF's official biome map. 

 

Project Chameleon is a Python program built from scratch to emulate the Russian Federation's единая маскировочная расцветка (edinaya maskirovochnaya rascvetka) or EMR, which translates roughly as Universal Camouflage Pattern.

 

Fed four colors represented by RGB values, this program uses John Zelle's graphics code library to plot an image of the randomized pixelated camouflage pattern created by the program's algorithm.

 

This website does not access the Python code, but lets the user access images created by the code.
